Our visit is intended to clarify the historical reasons that at some point have made it becomes necessary erection of this magnificent city walls to defend the city. We will also clarify the events of war that saw the real focus of the battle and see how the walls and how they succeeded in their task of defending the city, carried out from dusk of antiquity through the Middle Ages until the modern age with the famous breach of Porta Pia.
